Here are some useful links. The list of retailers is not exhaustive so you should shop around as you may find what you're after is on offer somewhere else. As always, never buy a rifle or scope before taking advice from the club to make sure it'll do exactly what you want it to and ideally not until you've seen one in the flesh. The fit and balance of a rifle is quite personal and you should always try before you buy. SBFTC does not recommend these retailers over any other. The VCR bill introduced on October 1st 2008 prohibits the sale of air rifles, air pistols and some accessories by mail order unless they are delivered to a registered fire arms dealer which now limits your choice of supplier unless you are prepared to travel and conduct the purchase in the shop. The respective web sites should indicate which items are prohibited. A word of caution when viewing the Airgun Forum and BBS sites. They both contain lot's of really helpful, useful and interesting information, but they also contain some misinformed, incorrect, and potentially dangerous threads as well. The moderators do a good job, but they're only human and dodgy posts may be up for a while before they're removed. If you're tempted to do a modification you've read about on a forum, always take advice at the club first.

If you would like a link to your site to be posted here, or if there are dead or incorrect links, let the webmaster know. We receive quite a few requests to link to other sites but they are not always appropriate. We will always link to other air rifle clubs and associations but not often to retailers. Please do not be offended if we choose not to link, but we receive 2 or 3 requests per month from retailers of general outdoors type equipment who stock only one or two types of rifle which are often spring rifles of Chinese manufacture. They are fine for low cost plinking but we couldn't recommend them for use at the club so we don't link to the site. The requirement is that you carry stock of equipment that is suitable for use in competition, that it is also your main product range and that you have staff that can offer impartial expertise.
