How to find us
Committee members

We shoot on Sunday mornings between 0900 and 1230, but due to conditions relating to our lease we're unable to shoot every week.  Also, we're a smallish club and most of the current committee compete in GP's, club opens and the winter league series so we don't operate a one on, one off rota of club days.  Although we will try to keep this site up to date (next club day is posted on the FT Diary page) it's best to send Dave an email to find out when the next club day is if you're not sure.  If the weather is extremely bad, high winds or heavy rain, we tend not to shoot, but snow and light rain are usually fine.

The first visit costs nothing and you'll be able to have a chat about what you want to get out of it.  If you've already got a rifle bring it with you so long as it's rated at 12ft/lb or under.  We now have a club rifle which is available for use by visitors at £1 per 50 shots that includes air and pellets, but members often bring a 2nd gun with them so you'll almost certainly get to try out a variety of rifles, especially if we know in advance.  Ideally drop Dave a quick email so we know you're coming.

The club is relatively small, and is run voluntarily by a few of the members and whilst we're always keen to meet new people we can't cater for large groups.  In the past we've had enquiries from social clubs interested in a day's rifle shooting, which is not something we can accommodate under any circumstances.  We do not have enough rifles available for hire, and also our insurance does not cover us for that sort of event.

Juniors are welcome and we don't have a lower age limit, however, air rifles are potentially very dangerous as well as heavy and this will be a consideration.  If a child is too small to safely handle a rifle, not only from a safety but also physical perspective, we regret that they will not be able to shoot.  Generally 10 is viewed as the lower age limit, but it's not set in stone.  Juniors (under 18) must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian over the age of 21 and may not be left unsupervised, even for short periods.

Email Dave if you need more information.
